My Recher Experience - 2 weeks later

ah, another Mary Prankster Experience. My first in two months. Okay, okay, stop giving me shit about it being two weeks late, I'm sorry. But I was in L.A. last week and after working 50-plus hours every week in front of a computer, the last thing I needed to do when I was on vacation was look at a computer.
Ha ha ha!!! I ignored computers for 10 days! Man oh, man, it felt sooo good!

But what about me??? You're thinking, I come to you, Marisa, every week or so, to explore your Mary Prankster Experience....

Well children, here it is: lots of hippies, hot love, new production guy introductions, and 16-year-old girls for Jon E. and Phil.
Yes, and all that topped off by a wonderful meeting with Cowbell Girl (aka Carolina) and luscious Amy and Melissa (I hope they don't arrest me for writing that).

Set started out with (holy Mary) Mata Hari. Then I think Swan Dive, but I'm not totally sure. Jon E.'s been steppin' up to the mike lately - shared some brand new "oohhhs" with Mary, singing along on that new song (which just might have a name now).

And tonight they're premeiring that new guitarist. Gee I wonder, who could it be? Let's see, Colouring Lesson broke up but when they were together CL's guitar genius helped Mary lay down some tracks. I bet you 10 bucks it's him... okay, Jon, don't laugh at me when I'm wrong.

"Piss Off" was in there at some point. Carolina used her seductive ways (don't kill me, cowbell girl) to coax "Breakfast" out of the band. Good job.

"Tits and Whisky" was the encore. My friend Russ was lovin' it. So were the lovelies who came for the hippie bands - Allmighty Senators and Loa...

I would delve into the Allmighty Senators set, but I need to save something for the Web master in charge of "The Allmighty Senators Experience," which may or may not exist. I don't remember the rest of the setlist because Carolina snagged both of them after the show, but I promise, promise promise to deliver the goods much sooner next time.

But I do remember Mary introducing me to her production coordinator - very nice man. Seems he has his own little set of fans.....
