today i have summarized,
that to completely realize
the true depth of your eyes
i'd have to see the sun rise
across ten thousand skies

and as i watched each one
of those fiery crystal suns
as they slowly appear and run
light the day until they're done
and then wait for another to come

i think of how you shine
from your teeth your hair and your eyes
the same eyes that i saw cry
like the clouds when the sun doesn't fly
up the blue canvas sky
